Youth Civic Engagement – Kings Rally

Young Hearts for Change participated in the Kings Rally as part of our continued commitment to youth civic engagement, community involvement, and helping young people make their voices heard.

This fall, founder Shona Kumar spoke to a crowd of over 8,000+ people about the importance of youth civic engagement and empowering young voices. She shared that when young people participate in democracy, advocate for their communities, and speak up about the issues that matter to them, they strengthen the future of our society.

Encouraging youth to recognize the power of their voices and become active participants in their communities is very important!
